01 RuCo Pride and LGBTQ+ Dems

We Are Proud to Support Our Local LGBTQIA+ and Minority Faith Communities. In fact, our founder is a member of the trans nonbinary community, is ordained Gardnerian Wiccan clergy in addition to their work as an author and public speaker. It is our goal over time to represent as many diverse populations in our community as possible in our leadership. Everyone should have a seat at the table when it comes to our future. Our approach focuses on inclusivity, transparency, and collaboration, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued in the pursuit of a fair and just society. Would you like to be a part of the team planning RuCo Pride 2026, or a part of organizing our LGBTQ Dems chapter here in Rutherford? 03 Interfaith Caucus

We work to bring people of all faiths—and none—together around shared progressive values of justice, equity, and community care. Through interfaith dialogue, civic engagement, and coalition-building, we foster mutual understanding, strengthen leadership, and stand united against harmful ideologies. Ultimately, we aim to create a platform where diverse voices can translate their beliefs into action, ensuring that compassion and inclusion shape North Carolina’s future. We hope to amplify youth voices on critical issues such as climate change, education, healthcare, and social justice. 05 Meeting Watch

Attending local public meetings is a powerful way for community members to stay informed and hold officials accountable. Whether it’s the city council or a school board, being present demonstrates that we are engaged and paying attention. Local participation is where the most immediate and impactful change begins, making public meetings a crucial space for civic empowerment and grassroots influence. 06 Meet Ups

Whether you’re into board games, Dungeons & Dragons, PlayStation, or voice chatting on Discord, Indivisible RuCo has a group for you. Parents with young kids can connect at the park over play dates, while others might prefer a relaxed coffee catch-up or a big group hangout at a local restaurant that doubles as a planning session. No matter the setting, the goal is the same: to build community and find a friend or two to make some good trouble with. Keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming events — and if you have a hobby or interest you’d like to share? Send us an email
