Indivisible Rutherford is a grassroots movement made up of individual Rutherford County NC locals organized under the banner of the greater Indivisible organization. In many ways you can think of us as the "alt" Rutherford County Democratic Party and we're here to speak up for the othered, the marginalized, and those who've felt left behind by local party politics. Together we can make change, raise our voices as one and say: "An attack on one, is an attack on all," in short, when someone attacks the party? We all roll initiative.
Why A Crow?
Crows root our activism to the local landscape. Masters of strategic cooperation, the common American Crow mirrors our commitment to thoughtful grass-roots problem solving, teamwork, and shared vigilance. Familiar in our rural scenery and often underestimated, crows are always ready to rise together, embodying, resilience,
adaptability, and community.

Indivisible RuCo is a civic outreach and education program of The Coven of Leaves, a 501(c)3 that has operated in Rutherford County since 2015. Working in collaboration with other faith leaders in the community, The Coven of Leaves is a nature-based faith and spirituality group that upholds the core tenet of Havamal 127: "Wherever you know of harm, regard that harm as your own, and give your enemies no frith."
What is "frith" you might be wondering? Frith is a state of peace, but also social relationships, stability, security, and sanctuary. It is our strongly held belief that we have a moral, ethical, and spiritual duty to commit acts of holy mischief that deny harmful members of our community peace.
