Thank you!

As always, we're here to build community, fight for justice, and if not encourage Rutherford County leadership to put the people of this county first, at least make 'em feel bad about it. Would you like to join our ragtag bunch of scrappy volunteers and part time rabble rousers? Please reach out!

Below are a few things we wanted to loop y'all in on.

Quick Updates

  • First things first, we wanted to give a huge thanks to the fine folks who came to last nights AMA with Mortellus. We had a great conversation about how to support marginalized communities, the experiences of LGBTQ+ folks, and people in minority faith communities. It was really heartwarming to see the dedication everyone has to going out there and making things better for folks here in Rutherford County.

  • Secondly (and also on the thanks wagon) we wanted to give an equally huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Trick or Treat on Main efforts. The event itself is on October 31st, but it takes no small amount of logistics to prepare for what we expect to be 1000+ children! We've still got packing goodie bags, folding zines, and actually showing up and getting it done ahead of us, but it's exciting to see it all come together. For anybody curious about what our expenses for that event look like (so far, because honestly we'll have to buy more paper and ink yet), here you go!
